First, the principle of an air curtain machine

An air curtain machine works by using a high-speed motor to drive a fan wheel—either cross-flow, centrifugal, or axial—that generates a strong airflow. This airflow creates a barrier at doorways, helping to separate the indoor and outdoor environments. It keeps the indoor air clean, prevents the mixing of hot and cold air, and reduces the workload on air conditioning systems. In addition, it acts as a shield against dust, insects, and harmful gases. These units are commonly installed in places like factories, shops, restaurants, cold storage facilities, hotels, airports, and train stations, wherever there is a need for climate control. They help create a more comfortable and pleasant environment for both workers and customers.

1. Based on function: Air curtain machines can be categorized into natural wind types, cooling types, and heating types. Heating models may further be divided into water-heated and electrically heated versions.

2. Based on motor and fan wheel structure: These machines can be classified into cross-flow, axial-flow, and centrifugal types, each offering different performance characteristics depending on their design.

3. Based on the diameter of the fan wheel: Common sizes include 90mm, 125mm, 130mm, and 150mm. The size directly affects the volume of air produced, with larger wheels generating stronger airflow.

4. Based on installation height: Air curtain machines come in different heights such as 125, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, etc., which correspond to doorway heights of 2.5 meters, 3.0 meters, 3.5 meters, 4.0 meters, 4.5 meters, and above.

5. Based on the length of the unit: Air curtain machines are available in various lengths, including 900mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, and 1800mm, allowing for flexible installation in different spaces.
