1. Application background

Due to the continuous increase in industrial labor costs across the country and the continuous advancement of the "machine substitution" process, in response to the national policy and promote the development of industrial automation, our company decided to develop a one-for-two grinder production line with automatic loading and unloading functions. The production mechanism reform of "decreasing employees and increasing efficiency" in the film industry provides the equipment foundation. The grinding machine production line has been customized by the customer, and it is a special grinding machine production line fully adapted to the needs of customers. Because this workpiece product is produced by many companies across the country, and all of them have business dealings with our company, the prospects are also very broad.

2. Application requirements

The current equipment on site has entered the final stage of commissioning. The interlocking and interlocking of each part, and the operation and operation have been commissioned. Due to uncertain factors in the workpiece gripping detection part, the running speed is slightly slower, and the mechanical part is still being improved. This equipment can realize that one manipulator can simultaneously unload materials on two grinders. During the process, the cleaning, turning, measuring, and sorting of the workpiece are realized. The equipment is equipped with three servo axes, a stepping axis, and controls a three-phase asynchronous motor and seven cylinders to act through a switch output. Each action is carried out in a predetermined sequence to realize simultaneous processing by two grinders, reduce pause time, improve work efficiency, and reduce manpower consumption.

Three, the solution

The equipment is divided into 3 parts, two grinders and a truss manipulator. There are three sets of control systems. The two grinder control systems are respectively connected to the manipulator control system. The connection mode is relay switch signal and 485 bus communication. Road connection to ensure equipment reliability. Each control system is in the PLC+HMI mode. The grinder sets the processing parameters through the man-machine interface, and the manipulator sets the operating process through the man-machine interface, and displays the current operating position, and shares the measurement data information to the corresponding through RS485 (Modbus) Grinding machine, so that the grinder can perform targeted processing and realize the one-time processing and shaping of the workpiece.

Six, application summary

Haiwell PLC is very careful in the production. The sequential design from the terminal block avoids the trouble of unfastening the wires that have been tightened and then installing the wiring when connecting in the sequence, and directly connect the wiring in the sequence. The terminal block can be disassembled to avoid the trouble of replacement. The redundant COM points are removed from the wiring terminals. In actual use, quite a lot of COM points need to be connected in series. Haiwell PLC does exactly this, which brings great convenience to the wiring personnel. The input wide voltage design saves the cost of the transformer, and the PLC can work stably without using an isolation transformer. The programming style follows the network method, which is clear, easy to make comments, and more readable! The instructions are modular, and each register can be displayed in the same screen, which is easy to monitor and debug, which brings great convenience to the debugging process
