On March 14, 2011, the research team of the High-tech LED Industry Research Institute led by Dr. Zhang Xiaofei visited Hangzhou Hangke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. Hangke Optoelectronics is one of the largest LED packaging companies in Zhejiang. Its ultra-high brightness LED devices and L modules have been widely used in indoor lighting, road lighting, general decorative lighting, LCD backlighting and other fields. The company's 2010 LED device package has a monthly capacity of 150 KK.
Yan Qianjun said that Hangke has been steadily stabilizing in the past 10 years, and has set a relatively solid foundation in pursuit of product quality and the replacement of imported devices. At the same time, he also realized that “the domestic LED industry has developed rapidly in recent years. In the next five years, LED lamps will be no different from the current traditional energy-saving lamps. If you do not start to transform and speed up, the company will soon be out.â€
He believes that 2011 is a key node, he will lead the Hangke team to change the past rules, start to increase speed, invest 5 million to build a new laboratory, and plan to increase monthly capacity to 200 KK by June this year. Among them, the capacity of SMD LED will exceed the in-line LED.
As the differentiation of upstream chip products becomes smaller, the importance of the packaging industry will gradually increase in the future. How to deal with the relationship between upstream and downstream will be crucial to the future development of packaging enterprises.
Yan Qianjun also revealed that Hangke has begun to get involved in the research and development of packaging materials, and is particularly optimistic about LED lighting companies that have been transformed from traditional lighting. In the future, Hangzhou Branch will establish a sound service system that combines traditional lighting.
