Both the International Electrotechnical Commission and the International Commission on Illumination are very concerned about the development of LEDs and the standardization of related LED devices. CIE has published a technical report on LED detection methods. Due to the rapid development of LED products in recent years, CIE is currently revising the test method standards. In the past two years, IEC has also increased the research on LED standards, and has proposed draft standards for LED modules, LED connectors and LED control components. Since there is no unified international standard for the performance of lighting LED products, and the research and development speed of LEDs in different countries is different, developed countries are actively preparing to establish their own LED standard system. The United States is conducting research on technical standards and test methods based on the characteristics of lighting LEDs. Japan will focus its research on test methods and technical standards for white LEDs for lighting. Foreign companies engaged in LED research, such as Lumileds, Philips, Osram, etc., have actively participated in national and international standardization work, and have also developed their own corporate standards, which regulate the photoelectric parameters of lighting LEDs, such as voltage, current, luminous flux, color coordinates, Color temperature, color rendering, life and other indicators. (II) Status of domestic development At present, there are no official national standards and industry standards for lighting LED products in China. The National Lighting Standardization Technical Committee (SAC TC224) has been tracking the technical progress and product quality of semiconductor lighting products in the past two years, collecting a large number of standard information about LED domestic and foreign well-known enterprises, and mastering the current development characteristics of LED lighting products. , has now declared the national standard development plan for lighting LED. Some domestic companies engaged in lighting LEDs are also actively developing corporate standards. In addition, the relevant domestic testing departments have begun to develop research and testing equipment for lighting LED test methods. Through the quality inspection of some products at home and abroad, the basic data is obtained. According to the specific characteristics of LED as the illumination source, the detection methods of its main performance are analyzed, which lays a good foundation for the development of standards. There are: performance requirements for LED modules for general lighting, LED module safety requirements for general lighting, and LED test methods for general lighting, etc., and work on the technical standards for lighting LED control devices, connectors, lamps, lighting systems, etc. Prepared relevant technical information. The industry standard "Performance Requirements for LED Modules for General Lighting" has now formed a draft standard, which is under discussion and revision. This standard is a recommended standard. It provides detailed regulations on the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of LED modules for general lighting. In the field of application, domestic relevant standardization organizations have formulated national standards and industry standards such as "road traffic signal lights", "LED miner's lamps", "general specifications for LED displays" and "LED display test methods". II. Lighting LED International Standard Introduction There are currently four draft standards for lighting LED modules that have been proposed by IEC.
