The China Nuclear Group's Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant, with a total investment of nearly 100 billion yuan, is located in the former Xuecun Village of Sanshan Town, Fuqing City. Fuqing City is an industry-intensive city that belongs to the power load center of Fujian Province. The project plans to build 6 million kilowatt-class generator sets, implement continuous construction, and connect it to the East China Power Grid and Fujian Power Grid after completion.
The first phase of Fuqing Nuclear Power Project, which was started in November 2008, consists of 1# and 2# units and is scheduled to be built in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
According to the project tender, the Fuqing Nuclear Power Emergency Road to be started is located in Sanshan Town and Gangtou Town of Fuqing City. The starting point is located at the west side of the Nuclear Power Plant in Sanxue Town's Qianxue Peninsula, and the end point is at Nanfangcun Road, Gangtou Town. The total length is 10.53 kilometers. .
It is reported that there are 4 medium and small bridges and 39 culverts on Fuqing Nuclear Power Emergency Road. The roads are designed and constructed according to the standard of Grade 2 highways. The surrounding of the road also pays attention to landscape construction.
