Taiwanese manufacturers will increase motherboard prices

According to DIGITIMES: Taiwan's motherboard makers, including Asustek, Gigabyte, and MSI, plan to moderately increase motherboard prices due to material, chipset, and labor cost increases.

It is expected that the main board price will increase by an average of 10% in the next three months. If the domestic labor force is still in short supply, some products may increase by 15-20%.

At present, PCB suppliers have already doubled the price of the original PCB due to the increase in copper prices.

The shortage of domestic labor causes Intel to choose the cheaper G31 chipset instead of the G41 on the low-end chipset, so as to ensure that it will not affect the excessive increase in the cost of low-end computers.
