This paper designs and manufactures a high-stability low-ripple DC power supply based on LT1083/LT1033 series high-power low-dropout three-terminal regulator chip. It introduces the main components such as buck, rectification filter, linear regulator, and LC low-pass filter. . The test results show that the power supply has the characteristics of high output voltage stability, large output current, low ripple and low power consumption.
Linear regulated power supply is widely used in scientific research, power electronics, electroplating, radio and television transmission, communications and other fields. It is an indispensable instrument for electronic circuit research in colleges and universities. However, the traditional linear regulated power supply has the disadvantages of low transformer conversion efficiency, large voltage difference of the voltage regulator chip, and insufficient filter circuit. It often has problems such as large output ripple, low efficiency, large heat generation, and indirect heating noise to the system. In the electronic design competitions over the years, the works were tested normally at the competition venue. However, when the test site was evaluated, the circuit suddenly burned down or the performance indicators did not reach the original level. An important reason is the stability of the evaluation site. The voltage of the power supply voltage fluctuates greatly, the supply current is unstable, and the positive and negative voltages do not match. Therefore, the high stability, low ripple power supply is an indispensable guarantee for scientific research innovation and electronic design competition.
