Molex has launched a new high-speed, low-loss flexible circuit assembly made from DuPont™ Pyralux® TK flexible circuit materials. This advanced component is specifically designed for high-performance electronic data transfer applications, including servers, high-end computing systems, storage solutions, and signal processing units.

Molex is among the first manufacturers to integrate DuPont™ Pyralux® TK materials into mass production of multilayer flexible circuits. Pyralux® TK is a double-sided flexible copper foil laminate that uses DuPont™ Teflon® fluoropolymer film and DuPont™ Kapton® polyimide film. It offers exceptional electrical performance for high-speed and high-frequency flexible circuits. Compared to traditional flexible components, Pyralux® TK provides better dielectric properties, lower loss, and a smaller bend radius, enabling faster signal transfer and greater design flexibility.

Molex's high-speed, low-loss flexible circuit assemblies are available in self-rolling or mechanically assisted winding versions, ideal for 3D flexible packaging. These designs help reduce insertion loss and improve airflow compared to conventional printed circuit boards.
