From this year on, LED street lights produced in Taiwan can be tested in Taiwan for “China's energy-saving product verification†and then sold directly to mainland China. Taiwan’s Workers’ Federation pointed out that the LED street lamps produced in Taiwan can be accepted by the mainland as long as they are tested by four in-house laboratories including the Metal Industry Research Center and the Industrial Research Institute Measurement Center.
In order to effectively reduce the testing costs of Taiwanese manufacturers, the Federation pointed out that since 2011, the Foundation has established a cross-strait capability test to establish the basis of technical confidence between the two sides and gradually promote mutual trust between the two sides.
Until May of this year, the General Manager said that the cooperation agreement was signed on the cross-strait LED street lamp product certification test, and included the Metal Industry Research Center, the Industrial Research Institute Measurement Center, the Large Power Research and Test Center, and the Taiwan Electronic Inspection Center.
