As a result, it has earned the nickname "The Oscars of Smart Living" and has become a prestigious recognition that companies strive to achieve.
According to the award’s organizers, all products applying for the Epland Awards must be exhibited at AWE2018. In 2018, the organizing committee made several improvements to the application process and evaluation system. They established the Epland Awards Leadership Group and an expert panel, introduced a professional reporting platform, and enhanced the efficiency and accuracy of the overall process.
Huang Lei, a member of the 2018 Epland Award Evaluation Panel and vice chairman of the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, emphasized that the 2018 edition of the award will focus on innovation in positioning, branding, charitable initiatives, and marketing strategies. The Epland Award has evolved from being called the "Oscar of China's Home Appliances" to the "Global Oscar for Smart Living." Its goal is to recognize products that embody smart technology, innovation, and improved quality of life.
This year’s awards include the Epland Gold Award, Epland Innovation Award, Epland Environmental Award, Epland Design Award, Epland Product Award, Epland Core Award, and the AiPlan Smart Innovation Award. Additionally, the public voting category has been upgraded to the Epland Gold Word of Mouth Award. Consumers can vote online via JD.com, with the final round taking place in February 2018. The voting period will end on March 9, 2018, at midnight. This year, the Epland Awards have partnered with 12 media platforms to create a "Golden Word of Mouth Award" voting channel, allowing both millions of consumers and professional readers to participate.
It's important to note that all submitted products will undergo physical evaluation through mail and on-site inspections at AWE. Experts from industry associations, testing organizations, research institutes, and media will be involved to ensure fairness and objectivity. No fees are charged for participation, reinforcing the credibility of the award.
