Heding Circuit: Moving towards the high-end lighting market

[Text / Gaogong LED Ganqin] "In June and July this year, the aluminum substrate entered the off-season, and the overall downstream market is not very prosperous." Dongguan Heding Circuit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Heding Circuit") Manager Wen Kemin admits that the LED industry has ushered in the turning point of development in the second half of this year, and the overall industry has shown a slowdown in growth.

Heding Circuit was established in December 1997. It is the earliest professional circuit board pressing and LED PCB processing and manufacturing enterprise established in the Pearl River Delta region. The company is mainly engaged in the manufacture of LED aluminum-based circuit boards and the inner layer and press processing of multi-layer boards.

Wen Kemin pointed out that whether it is lighting products, backlight TV and other civilian products, price is always the first priority, only the wiring boards, lamp beads, lenses and other accessories and materials in different degrees of cost reduction, in order to be accepted by consumers.

However, prices are falling and labor costs are rising. This development is not only in the aluminum substrate industry, but also in the entire LED industry.

In order to solve this problem, Heding Circuit began to lay out automated production lines as early as the end of 2014, becoming the first LED circuit board enterprise to take the automated production line.

Wen Kemin introduced that the company is generally implemented in four stages: the first stage is automated production from the opening of the material to the line; the second stage is the automatic production of anti-welding, white oil and black oil; the third stage is the automated product molding; The fourth phase includes automated production including testing, packaging, quality, and inspection shipments.

Wen Kemin pointed out that after the automatic production, the production cycle will be shortened from the original five days to three days. In addition, the quality of the products can be improved by reducing the errors and mistakes of manual operations. The most important thing is to reduce the cost of materials, water and electricity, and labor, and increase market competitiveness by lowering prices.

"The development direction of the automation route is correct. At present, most of the substrate industry is taking the route of automation." Wen Kemin said that next year our company hopes to expand production through automated production and achieve the production capacity of 30,000 square meters.

With excellent quality, the company has already carried out in-depth cooperation with many well-known LED lighting companies, coupled with the technical accumulation of Heding circuit in the field of LED backlighting, with fully automated production lines to guarantee, in the future LED lighting market, Ding has a very obvious competitive advantage.

In addition, in terms of market positioning, Wen Kemin admits that aluminum-based substrates such as TV backlights, lighting and other consumer goods are low-end markets. Heding Circuit can only select customers with higher quality requirements in the entire low-end market. In the future, the company hopes to enhance the company's reputation by upgrading its product technology, and to develop high-end market areas, such as commercial lighting, sports lighting, and automotive lighting.

"The future of the entire lighting market is still expected, and the high-end market will have higher requirements for products. Only by placing higher demands on themselves can the company develop better." Wen Kemin said.
