Wands will be on sale at the Oculus Store on August 18. Careful readers may recall having reported on the development of games Wands by Swedish gaming studio Univrses. Today, the team that develops Wands games is the NUX studio. It is still not known whether Univrses changed the name of the team or changed the new team, but in fact Rivy Helgesson, CEO of Univrses, is currently the producer of the NUX studio.
As a pure player-to-player game, Wands combines magic with Steampunk Victorian design. The player controlling the magician or "ruler" must fight against other players by training and learning ancient spells.
NUX Studio released a new trailer for the game, showing some scenes, spells and game settings. The Gear VR game does not require an additional Bluetooth controller. Actions are accomplished through the drive mechanism. The provided spells include fireballs and fire phoenixes, which are defended by magic like light shields.

Gear VR version of Wands will be available for sale on August 18, 2016. Other versions are planned later this year, but the studio did not disclose it.
