The operating procedures are as follows:
1. Turn on the power supply and ensure the device is properly connected.
2. Based on the test label and technical specifications, select the appropriate oil groove diameter that matches the sample requirements.
3. Use a metal lever to securely close the oil hole to prevent any leakage during the process.
4. When filling the water, make sure not to overfill it to avoid overflow or inaccurate readings.
5. Take the asphalt sample and place it in the cup for melting. Ensure the temperature is suitable for the material to become fluid.
6. Adjust the thermal conductivity electrode to the required temperature according to the asphalt specifications, then turn on the heating switch. Once the system stabilizes, push the metal rod forward so that the asphalt flows into the measuring cylinder. Add an appropriate amount of water to the sample inside the cylinder.
When 25ml of asphalt has flowed into the cylinder, press the stopwatch to start timing. When the volume reaches 100ml, stop the stopwatch and record the elapsed time accurately.
7. After completing the test, turn off the power and clean the equipment thoroughly before storing it in a safe place.
