At present, the monitoring and control of information and equipment in a certain area are mostly wired, and the network is interrupted due to corrosion and damage of the line during the wiring and maintenance process, which has an impact on normal production work and increases the cost of human resources. proportion. Based on this, from the perspective of cost saving and network stability, a design scheme of multi-node device wireless ad hoc network based on ZigBee technology is presented.

ZigBee technology based on IEEE 802.15.4 protocol is an emerging short-range wireless communication technology with low power consumption, low cost, large network capacity, high reliability and high security. Sensor nodes using ZigBee wireless modules require little energy to coordinate between multiple sensors and use wireless transmission to transfer data information from one sensor to another in a baton. ZigBee digital transmission technology is widely used in the fields of wireless industry, precision agriculture, home and building automation, consumer appliances and medical services. It is the key support direction of information technology in the national “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”. The main contents of this paper include network node hardware design, ZigBee data transmission network structure implementation and wireless Mesh network test. The system uses the terminal node to collect data, and aggregates the multi-hop route to the coordinator node to realize the multi-node device wireless ad hoc network.

1 system network structure

The system network topology is shown in Figure 1. The tree-based Mesh topology is used. The network consists of three types of functional modules: Coordinator, Router, and End Device.
